The Davey CrystalClear ER is a premium fibreglass media filter designed to deliver reliable filtration, excellent water clarity and efficient backwashing for residential pools.

Its seamless one-piece fibreglass tank is manufactured using precision filament winding for long-term strength and durability, with no welds or seams that can corrode over time.

Efficient Filtration & Backwashing

The CrystalClear ER uses specially designed Fish Tail laterals to improve hydraulic efficiency through the filter.

This design can reduce backwash time by around 30% while also reducing the required backwash flow rate, helping save water, energy and time. Lower filtration flow can also assist with improved water clarity.

Installation

The Davey CrystalClear ER Media Filter should be correctly sized to suit the pool volume, filtration pump flow rate and selected filter media.

The filter should be installed upright on a firm, level base with adequate clearance for operation of the multiport valve and future servicing.

Correct pump flow is important for both normal filtration and effective backwashing. The required quantity of sand, glass or Zelbrite varies by filter size and should be loaded in accordance with Davey’s specifications.

The 6-way multiport valve allows normal filtration, backwashing, rinsing and other service functions, while the sight glass makes it easy to determine when the backwash water is clear.

Warranty

Davey provides the following manufacturer warranty for the CrystalClear ER Media Filter:

Fibreglass tank: 10 years
Multiport valve: 3 years
Pressure gauge, laterals and labour: 1 year

Commercial fibreglass tank applications: 5 years

Warranty coverage is subject to Davey’s current warranty conditions, correct installation, maintenance and operation within the manufacturer’s specifications.

Australian Consumer Law rights apply in addition to the manufacturer warranty.
