The Henden Compact Salt + Mineral Chlorinator is a simple, reliable sanitisation system designed to keep pool water clear with minimal day-to-day maintenance.

Suitable for both salt and mineral pools, the Compact range operates at approximately 3,500–4,000ppm and uses a premium-grade titanium cell to automatically produce chlorine from the minerals or salt already in the pool water.

Installation

The Henden Compact Salt + Mineral Chlorinator should be professionally sized and installed to suit the pool volume, climate and required chlorine demand.

The power supply should be mounted at least 1 metre above ground in a well-ventilated position protected from direct weather.

The electrolytic cell should be installed in the pool return plumbing and positioned no more than approximately 1.5 metres from the power supply.

The pool pump should be connected through the chlorinator's pump outlet, or suitable flow protection must be provided so the cell cannot operate without water flow.

The unit requires a suitable weatherproof RCD-protected 10A power outlet.

Before commissioning, the pool water should be correctly balanced and brought to approximately 3,500–4,000ppm salt or the equivalent mineral concentration.
