The Henden Media Filter is a durable, easy-to-use filtration system designed to provide reliable everyday filtration for residential swimming pools.

Its twin-layered tank construction provides strength and long-term durability, while the UV-stabilised and corrosion-proof exterior is built to handle outdoor pool environments.

Simple Operation & Maintenance

A large-handle six-way multiport valve makes changing between filtration and backwashing functions straightforward.

The built-in sight glass lets you clearly see when the backwash water runs clean, while the upward-facing oil-filled pressure gauge makes it easy to monitor when the filter requires cleaning.

Installation

The Henden Media Filter should be correctly sized to suit the pool volume, pump flow rate and selected filter media.

The filter should be installed upright on a firm, level base with adequate clearance for operation of the multiport valve and future servicing.

The correct quantity of filter media varies by model and should be loaded according to Henden specifications.

The filtration pump must provide sufficient flow for both normal filtration and effective backwashing. Excessive flow can reduce filtration performance and cause noisy operation.

The pressure gauge and sight glass make it easy to monitor filter condition and determine when backwashing is required.
