Experience swimming the way it should feel with the Naked Freshwater System — soft, clean, fresh-feeling water with significantly less reliance on traditional pool chemicals.

Unlike a conventional salt chlorinator that uses salt to continually generate chlorine, Naked combines copper and silver ionisation with oxidation to sanitise the pool while producing only very small amounts of chlorine. The result is beautifully clear water that feels softer and more natural to swim in.

The Naked system uses intelligent digital control to manage both ionisation and oxidation.

Copper and silver ions help control algae and microorganisms, while oxidation takes care of organic contaminants in the water. Together, they provide an effective sanitisation system with reduced chemical demand and simple ongoing maintenance.

Adding the optional pH Controller further simplifies pool care by automatically dosing acid to help maintain the desired pH level.

Warranty

The Naked NKD-R currently carries a 5-year warranty on the digital control unit and oxidiser electrode, with the oxidiser electrode also limited to 10,000 operating hours. Ioniser rods are a consumable item and are not covered by warranty.

Installation

The Naked Freshwater System should be professionally installed and commissioned to suit the pool volume, filtration system and water conditions.

Installation includes plumbing the Oxidiser and Ioniser housings into the pool filtration return line, mounting and connecting the digital control unit and programming the system for the correct pool volume.

The pool water must be correctly balanced and brought to the required freshwater salt or mineral concentration before commissioning.

The controller should be installed in a protected, well-ventilated location and must not be exposed directly to weather, chemical fumes or excessive heat.

The system can be installed on new pools or used to convert many existing chlorine or salt pools. Existing water may require partial draining and rebalancing depending on salt and chemical levels.

Warranty

For the Naked NKD-R Freshwater System in Australian domestic installations:

Digital control unit: 5 years
Oxidiser electrode: 5 years or 10,000 operating hours, whichever occurs first
Ioniser rods: Consumable item and not covered by warranty

Commercial installations: 12 months unless a commercial model is purchased

Warranty is back-to-base and subject to correct installation, water balance, ventilation, maintenance and operating conditions.

Australian Consumer Law rights apply in addition to the manufacturer warranty.
