Installation

The Theralux Filter Pro should be correctly sized to suit the pool volume, pump flow rate and selected filter media.

The filter should be installed upright on a firm, level base with adequate clearance for operation of the multiport valve and future servicing.

Correct plumbing size and flow rate are important for both effective filtration and proper backwashing.

The required quantity of sand or glass media varies by model and should be loaded in accordance with Theralux specifications.

The 6-way multiport valve provides filtration, backwash, rinse and other service functions, while the sight glass allows the operator to see when the backwash cycle is complete.

Warranty

Theralux provides the following manufacturer warranty for the Filter Pro Media Filter:

Filter tank: 10 years
Multiport valve, internals and pressure gauge: 1 year
On-site labour: 1 year from date of purchase
Commercial use: 1 year on all parts

Warranty coverage is subject to Theralux’s current warranty conditions, correct installation, water balance, maintenance and operating requirements.

Australian Consumer Law rights apply in addition to the manufacturer warranty.
