SP110 Pool Pump

SP110 Pool Pump

Theralaux Theraflo 1HP

Good

Health notesPump is running better now 2nd filter has been removed.

Recommended settingsSystem is set to run for 8hrs per day in Summer. 4hrs per day in Winter will be plenty.

SP110 Filter

SP110 Filter

Emaux Emaux 24” Filter

Needs attention

Health notesSand inside probably needs replacing, and the tank / handle is pretty old so no point replacing just the sand. There isn’t a huge price difference in replacing the whole thing compared to sand, so better off getting a new one. It runs for now so not urgent but will definitely filter better once replaced

Dosage guidance: Estimates use Hy-Clor published product-chart rates for Calcium Increaser (200 g/10,000 L per ~15 ppm) and Stabiliser (500 g/10,000 L per ~50 ppm). Salt uses Passport chlorinator settings; buy whole 20 kg bags but add only the calculated amount. Copper advice depends on the exact controller. Always use calcium hardness (not total hardness) for calcium calculations. Check the exact product label, maximum single dose and application directions; never mix chemicals. Dose each chemical separately in the order shown, allowing the circulation time on its label. Never mix chemicals. For ordinary independent corrections, a single final retest is sufficient; if a step specifically requires an intermediate test, do that before continuing. Do not swim when sanitiser readings are unsafe. Estimates are not water-safety clearance or Hy-Clor approval.

Recommendations & Next StepsOur advice for your pool

Chlorinator running from 9am - 5pm at 100% output. Id leave it running for 24hrs to give it a good boost of chlorine and see how the pool looks. Once it clears, give it a good backwash, then may need to vaccuum algea to waste. Water balance isn’t too bad, just needs Chlorine and stabiliser. Add 2kg of stabiliser once pool is clear and recheck balance. Keep backwashing once or twice a week until the pool is clear and clean.
