The BWT F1 R and F1 RX Robotic Pool Cleaners combine intelligent navigation, ultrafine filtration and impressive wall-climbing ability in an exceptionally compact and lightweight design.

Designed to automatically clean the pool floor, walls and waterline, the F1 range operates independently of your pool's filtration system, collecting dirt and debris directly into its own onboard filtration system while intelligently navigating the shape of your pool. 

At only 5.75 kg, both models are significantly lighter than many traditional robotic cleaners. Their rapid water-release design also allows water to drain quickly as the cleaner is lifted from the pool, making everyday handling considerably easier. 

Intelligent Gyroscopic Navigation

The F1 range uses an intelligent navigation system combined with an onboard gyroscope and multiple sensors to optimise movement throughout the pool.

Rather than simply travelling randomly, the cleaner continually manages its direction and cleaning path to provide comprehensive coverage of the pool floor, walls and waterline.

A sophisticated two-stage planetary gear system, twin drive motors and powerful pump provide precise movement and excellent manoeuvrability, helping the F1 negotiate different pool shapes, slopes and surface transitions. 

Floor, Wall & Waterline Cleaning

Both the F1 R and F1 RX provide complete cleaning coverage across:

Two active PVC brushes help loosen dirt from the pool surface while the onboard filtration system collects the debris.

The cleaner's combination of traction, intelligent navigation and gyroscopic control allows it to confidently transition from the floor onto walls and continue cleaning right up to the waterline. 

Ultrafine Double Filtration

The current F1 R and F1 RX models feature ultrathin double filtration, designed to capture both everyday debris and much finer particles such as dust and sediment.

Rather than sending collected material through your pool's main filtration system, dirt is captured inside the robot where it can be easily removed and rinsed away. 

A Filter Full indicator lets you know when it's time to clean the filtration system.

When required, simply press the release button, lift the filter from the top of the cleaner and rinse it clean — there's no need to turn the robot upside down or handle a dirty filter bag. 

Bluetooth & Smartphone Control

Both F1 models feature Bluetooth connectivity and access to the BWT Home app.

From your compatible smartphone you can select cleaning cycles, remotely control the cleaner, program operation and receive status notifications. 

The F1 RX steps up to BWT's Premium app functionality and adds Spot Cleaning, allowing you to target a particular area of the pool when extra attention is required. 

Three Cleaning Cycles

Choose from three cleaning-cycle durations depending on your pool and how much cleaning is required:

• 1 hour 30 minutes
• 2 hours
• 2 hours 30 minutes

Both models also offer delayed start, scheduling, cycle selection and status notifications through their connected control system. 

F1 R or F1 RX?

The F1 R is designed for pools up to 12 metres and includes a 16 metre floating cable. It provides full floor, wall and waterline cleaning, double ultrafine filtration and connected app functionality.

The F1 RX increases capacity to pools up to 14 metres, includes a longer 18 metre cable, and adds the Premium BWT app and Spot Cleaning function.

Both models weigh just 5.75 kg and feature twin PVC brushes, gyroscopic navigation, a Filter Full indicator and Bluetooth connectivity.

Waterco's current Australian brochure lists:

F1 R — 2 years + 1 additional limited year
F1 RX — 3 years + 1 additional limited year

Waterco specifies that the additional limited warranty applies to the cable, motor and power supply, subject to the manufacturer's warranty terms and conditions. Davey's current Australian product listing separately describes the standard warranty periods as 2 years for the F1 R and 3 years for the F1 RX.
