Installation

The Henden Compact Low Salt Chlorinator should be professionally sized and installed to suit the pool volume, climate and required chlorine demand.

The electrolytic cell is installed in the pool return plumbing and must receive adequate water flow whenever chlorine production is operating.

The power supply should be mounted in a protected, well-ventilated position and protected from direct weather and water ingress.

Before commissioning, the pool water should be correctly balanced and brought to the required low-salt or mineral concentration. For the Low Salt models, Henden recommends approximately 1,500ppm.

Correct water flow, water balance, salt level and filtration run time are important for reliable chlorine production and cell life.
