Installation

The Henden Essential Inverter Heat Pump should be professionally sized to suit the pool volume, required temperature, local climate and expected swimming season.

The heat pump requires unrestricted airflow and should not be installed in an enclosed or poorly ventilated area.

Minimum clearances:
Front: 500mm
Rear: 300mm
Sides: 300mm

For optimum performance, Henden recommends installing the heat pump within approximately 10 metres of the swimming pool.

An adjustable bypass must be installed between the heat pump inlet and outlet so the correct water flow can be set through the unit.

Chemical dosing equipment, including chlorinators, must be installed downstream of the heat pump.

A suitable condensate drain must be provided.

The unit requires a dedicated electrical circuit with a weatherproof isolation switch, with electrical work completed by a licensed electrician in accordance with Australian wiring requirements.
